Back at ya, with another mini post. I've updated my pictures to include a bunch from here in Japan. I've also got myself signed up for internet access, though here, for some reason, that takes a fricking month to get installed and setup.
Which brings me to my next point. For some reason it is impossible to get shit done quickly here. My co-worker, Angelica, has a term for it; "Japanese-y". She's SO fucking right. The other day I went to mail 2 letters off and it took 15 minutes once I was at the counter. Like, not waiting in line or anything, just 15 minutes of some woman saying "Air mail"? With the internet, all I had to do was fill out my address, the type of service I wanted, and sign in 2 places. It took 1 1/2 hours. These people are literally addicted to making everything a huge bureaucratic production, it's crazy. They're crazy.
It has stopped being funny that I'm completely not built for this little island. I am truly a giant amongst these people. Fantastically awkward.

Used book shopping in Tokyo tomorrow. I saw the first *hole in the ground* toilet today. Pictures should be coming next week sometime, when I should also have internet access. Bought bread the other day that looked like it was covered with tomaotes. Turns out is was fish. And squid. Fucking Japs.

Hey all you loyal readers. Just wanted to know that I:m in Japan, safe and sound. Things here are mostly very strange, but I:m working it out. Also, if you haven:t noticed by now, there are no apostrophies on the fucking keyboards.
I should have some more updates soon, when I get setup for internet access. Also, expect some great pictures.
