Frankly, I feel that the upcoming election is far too polarized between bad options. I mean, Duyba is a very dangerous moron (for evidence, click here) while John Kerry is really a pretty alienating liberal. As an extremely fierce moderate, I feel it's my civic duty to offer a lukewarm solution to these opposites.

As such, I'd like to announce my new political directive for the nation, called "Anybody but Bush". While the title does not lend itself to a bi-partisan attitude, a bit more investigation shows that many people are upset with the current state of our nation. Realistically, I know that there are only so many "qualified people" to be successful politicans, but I feel that almost anyone can do a better job than Bush.

In conclusion, some ordinary citizens in this great country would make excellent candidates for president in this next election. We could get an all star panel together and really put together a great ticket. In closing, vote Dahmer and Bundy in 2004.

I was looking at CNN today and noticed some really freaked out cops in Florida. Upon further inspection, I found a whole bunch of very strange people who do very strange things.

Usually when I find something new and strange I'm a little bit interested in learning more. Somehow though this just doesn't feel like I should explore more. Oh well, looks like another hobby down the drain...

Please consider my credentials when you rock the vote

If my life were to have chapter titles, much like a book, I think that the past month would be entitled "Moving and Stillness". While I myself have not changed houses (as you think that this title would indicate), I have been doing a lot of moving around lately. I've moved my dad into his apartment in Washington, D.C., where he will be living for a year. He loves the job, but doesn't know many people in the area, except for his co-workers. On a side note, my dad has (quasi) jokingly offered to give whoever moves out of the house first the furniture set he has in D.C. Somehow though I think my brother already won that competition...

I've also driven out west to see Jade in Billings, MT. I went with Jes and, frankly, the trip was awesome. We stopped in a bunch of places on the way out, not the least of which were Wall, South Dakota and Mount Rushmore. We then spent 7 days with the Sobeks, during which we hung out at Yellowstone National Park, Cody Wyoming, and an isolated cabin 45 minutes outside of Red Lodge Montana. Jes, Jade, and I took a 10 mile hike one day, saw the Wild Bill Cody Wild West museum, and went to a rodeo. As further evidence for just how awesome the trip was, I bought Jes cowboy boots... at her request!

Since then, I've started to get decently serious about looking for a job, since I know that law school is not in my immediate future. So far I'm exploring leads in antique book dealing, teaching positions in Japan (again), and the dreaded "joe-job". The joe job is a dead last restort though, which will only happen if I'm totally strapped for cash.

As most of you know, I've been online lately. This has been do to a realignment of the cosmic order, since somehow the Lisy family has gotten internet access. I've convinced my family that DSL was the best option (it is) for our purposes, so I've been able to get a whole wireless DSL setup here at home going. Amazing...

Anyways, I'm bored, so if you're in the Cleveland area or if you even just want me to stop by your place, email me and I'll come work my professional bum skills at your place.
